Beginning my own personal journey into Recovery in 1991, I have spent much of my life living, breathing and teaching the practices and principles of the Recovery solution.
I have gained much of my 30 years of experience working with thousands of people over the years including families of addicted people, in many different settings, I started my career working for a homeless charity in Watford. I spent many long nights doing street outreach and support work, I helped manage a night shelter and wet house. For 9 years I founded and managed three successful Clean and Sober living houses. I spent ten years working with alcoholics and addicts within the Criminal Justice system, as well as being the founder and Director of East Coast Recovery & Rehabs UK. I have also been successful in offering hundreds of community-based Workshops and courses. Alongside all of that I support and counsel recovered people with life/recovery coaching and personal development, I am a qualified NLP instructor, I also offer advice and support to other treatment professionals.
I have put my three decades of experience into ECR’s unique and effective treatment programme, working with my dedicated team, I ensure that ECR is always on the cutting edge of treatment. I am deeply passionate about helping people find a working solution to their addiction disorder problem.
When I am not helping people and their families with addiction problems, I love to be at home in my garden with my wife and dog, mountain bike riding or tinkering with something in my shed.
